Here is a typical Native American Prayer:
The indigenous people of all countries have been in touch with Mother Earth and all her creations more so then our generation. Their appreciation and understanding of life is deeply embedded in their natural surroundings. They believe that "The Great Spirit", God, Jehovah, Allah or in any other name that is given for our great creator is revealed to us everyday through the creations we live with. Each human has one or more spirit animal which remains with you until the day you enter the spirit world. I guess you could call this spirit animal, your angel. It is the believe that we are all connected as in the Native American prayer cites, Mitakuye Oyasin ~~ "WE ARE ALL ONE".
