As the year winds down to an end and the gift giving seems to fade away with religious connotations, ~~ we can now focus on giving year round when it really matters. I am sorry, my soul simply does not accept the implication that Christmas and Hanukkah are the gift giving times and one can feel obligated and stressed for not participating in such rituals for what ever reason.
As far as I am concerned, these Holidays can be distracting to what gift giving is all about. I have given gifts all year round. When finances are down as most of us have experienced from time to time, you can give the gift of your precious time! You can work as a volunteer at shelters for the homeless or animals. At soup kitchens, donating blood or clothing, etc. Please click on the link below and see a video that can inspire you to give all year round!
