What are resolutions? Are they promises to ourselves for changes in our life which we believe make us better people or just different people? Why are we caught up in the Annual tradition instead of making such changes throughout the year, not on New Years Eve? This suggests that a new year deserves a new beginning. It may suggest that there are things we do not like about ourselves.
I say over and over again~~each day we wake up in the morning we can experience a new beginning. We can do daily affirmations geared to be a better person.
Simple facts regarding New Years Resolutions:
Only 12% percent fulfill their resolutions. When goal setting, instead of a simple resolution the success rate is about 25% higher as a success rate.
The most common resolutions are to lose weight, eat better, stop various addictions such as smoking and of coarse, get a better job, or even a job, period~~considering the economic problems the world is having.
There is an old tradition of writing your "goals" or wishes,~~ if you will, on a piece of paper. Each wish on a separate piece of paper. Then you throw into the fireplace or burn them as your thoughts rise to the universe and energy is projected to your goals. If you travel, you walk around the block with your suite case to project positive energy for safe and enjoyable traveling. In Spain, eating 12 grapes at midnight. It is traditional that at the each chime a grape is eaten to beacon ample food for the for each month of the new year! It started in Spain as the King would give grapes to all to eat from the new harvest for the new year!
Don't you just love traditions from around the world? Because my beloved is Latina, I will be eating 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight!
I resolve in living healthier for mind and body. Continue to do good for my fellow man and all living creatures on planet Earth. Prosperity will come because I deserve it. My first book will be published by the end of this year so I may get the message out to all to share in our oneness and peace. Happiness will follow.
May you all have a Great new year, full of Love, Peace and happiness in good Health!
Thank You Stephen!
