"Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
Do not stand at my grave and mourn.
I am the dew-flecked grass at dawn.
Where tranquil oceans meet the land
I am the footprints in the sand
To guide you through the weary day.
I am still here; I'll always stay.
When you wake up to morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die."

My Beloved is going through some challenges in life right now. Two of her close and favorite aunts may be leaving this realm in next few days, if not sooner.
You have read one of my posts on "Death and our Soul" These current challenges bring this to center stage and spot light. Allow me to review that life is energy and is everlasting. It does not go away, it just changes form. When life ends in the shell, it is not longer restricted. Instead, you are surrounded by the energy of the soul who has given up the body. You are even closer to that soul then before.
While it is human to grieve and be sad for the immediate "loss" you will become happy for your loved one as you feel her or his energy.
Interestingly this was the message on my father's tribute card after his funeral and it always gave me great comfort...You must be psychically linked to me as earlier today when writing for my own blog I was considering this very topic and how it creates a personal paradigm shift for the survivors. Thank you for the reminder...Namaste
ReplyDeleteKimber, so true that souls are linked and with the proper "tuner" one will always be on the same track as the other.
ReplyDeleteBe well in Light and Peace!
