~~~ THE END OF THE WORLD? ~~~

Well ~~ we are still here. I am not going as far as to say that all the prophesies we have been hearing including that from Nostradamus were wrong. We may have just miss interpreted them.

My wife worked in the movie business in Mexico. She worked with Mel Gibson on the movie "Apocalyto " which was filmed in Vera Cruz, Mexico. She was a make-up artist and was one of many make-up artists working in the jungles in Vera Cruz doing the make-up on the natives. In the movie there was a real Mayan Chief. He appears at the beginning of the movie at the fireplace scene. There were many opportunities for discussions with this Chief who in fact invited my wife to spend time in their Temple after the movie was completed. The Mayan calender was discussed and the chief made it quite clear that the end of the world would not happen on 2012 December 21st at 11:11. He did say that humans will go through some changes and may be seriously challenged in the "New Era" of mankind. Theses changes will not happen overnight. Anyone interpreting the Mayan calender as the end of the world simply misinterpreted it.

There is no doubt that mankind will go though many changes before he realizes what he needs to do to save the planet and himself. Some changes have already been set in place. The humans who have found the inner peace and share with humanity are already experiencing the new age.  

Our fate or future does depend on who we are inside.

One of my favorite poets is Kahlil Gibran. He has said: "The appearance of things changes according to the emotions and thus, we see the magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves"

We have more time to take care our garden of life. Use this time wisely. Time is a gift, life is a gift, our planet is a gift . Things are how we feel inside. You can put yourself in a Spiritual jail and complain about how life is unfair or you can reach down deep in you soul and see the how beautiful life can be. Perhaps then we will care for our planet much better.
